Helping pets and communities across Shelburne County
Pet Projects is a volunteer-run organization dedicated to improving welfare for pets throughout Shelburne County — dogs, cats, community cats, and other companion animals.
What began as affordable spay and neuter support has grown into rescue help, community cat colony work, dog spay and neuter assistance, and partnerships that strengthen animal welfare across our region.
Everything we do is driven by volunteers who care about the pets in our communities.

When cats are discovered outdoors or in crisis, volunteers assess the situation and work toward safer outcomes — including mother cats and their litters.
